Euphoria by Erin Noelle - Review & Giveaway

Blurb

After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again torn between two loves, as different as they may be. Lacking proper closure with their relationship, accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will go to any lengths necessary to do just that.

Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.

Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to happiness and understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender

Recommended for readers 17+ due to sexual content and harsh language.

Melissa's Review:

I have pondered over and over again about what to write in this review. I absolutely loved Meta and Ambrosia. Ill go ahead and admit I was team Ash from the beginning. This book was so heartbreakingly beautiful to read. It has been a long time since I have had a book grab me, tear my heart open, and expose all of my emotions within a few chapters. I was honestly emotionally raw and I pondered this review for days and as Im writing it now Im still pondering my feelings.

This book exceeded all of my expectations and left me completely raw. There were times during this book where I wanted to cuss, throw my kindle and stop reading completely. But, if you have ever read anything written by Erin you know that its just not possible to do. So - I kept reading and there were times where I regretted that decision and other times when I was so happy that I finished it. My heart still hurts thinking about it and Im sure at some point I will re-read the trilogy because it is just that good - but this book gutted me. It ripped me open, then lovingly put me back together again.

Kudos Erin - you have done it yet again and given us a beautiful book. I can honestly say Im sad to see this series end - but Im happy with the way things turned out. The story flowed smoothly, the writing as always was awesome and I feel the loss of these characters as their stories have came to a close.

Excerpts

Even in learning to love myself, I had learned that it was okay to miss the ones that I loved that were no longer around. It didn’t mean that I was any less of a person on my own or that I was dependent on them for happiness. It simply meant that I loved them, and missed them being in my life ~ plain and simple. ~ Scarlett
Embracing her one last time, I whispered in her ear, “I love you, butterfly… ‘your curves and all your edges, and all your perfect imperfections.’ I’ll see you tomorrow night.” “I love you, too, Ash. ‘You’re my end and my beginning; even when I lose, I’m winning,’” she whispered back. Then she grabbed her bag and headed for the security check point. Right before turning the corner where I couldn’t see her anymore, she looked back at me and blew me a kiss and made hand hearts. Damn, she was beautiful. I stood there for several minutes with a goofy ass grin on my face. I wasn’t expecting her to sing the next lyrics of the song to me, but it filled me with an indescribable feeling of warmth and love. ~Ash

"I understood what she said about so much happening between us, but I didn’t agree that it was more than we could handle. I was willing to forgive her for all that she had done wrong, but seemingly she couldn’t do the same. I believed that she loved me; regardless of her fuck ups, her heart was pure and her intentions were good. I always knew that Ash had some sort of hold on her, but I had truly believed that our love was true and we could overcome that. Obviously I had been wrong." ~ Mason

"Many psychologists refer to euphoria as a state of intense happiness and self-confidence, a blissful self-clarity if you will, and most people throughout their lives search and strive for this feeling. Why many never achieve it is because they never learn how to love themselves. When you discover the true beauty of self-love, then and only then, will you experience pure euphoria. Today you both took a step in the right direction in your quest; don’t look back now." ~ Heather
